Do you believe that three-year-old kids can master programming and learn to create their own games before they can read? Easily!
If your child is constantly asking for your smartphone to play, do not limit his interest. Better yet, sign him up for a course and let him write his own games.
It's time to stop being afraid of video games. According to experts, they not only don't damage your vision and character, but can also develop logic, abstract thinking, motor skills, imagination, and memory. They can also open the door to the world of high technology.
We in CODDY are sure that developing games is a great way to turn a hobby into a developing activity, and at the same time prepare them for school. By making their own games, even children aged 3-6 can easily learn how to program, think logically and even try teamwork.
In our classes, we use ScratchJr, a simple and clear programming environment developed at the legendary MIT specifically for kids. It makes the learning process fun and accessible to the very young.
It uses a visual language rather than the usual text code to create a program. We don't even care if the child can read. With the help of tablets, we make programs from colorful "bricks" - drag and drop them and connect them, just like in Lego. As a result, you get your own game to play at once and which you want to show off to your parents.
During the learning process, children learn motion and sound ScratchJr blocks, the alphabet, elementary shapes, come up with dialogues for characters, get acquainted with algorithms and loops.
Students engage in learning activities that use both ScratchJr and a variety of online educational platforms. This approach provides them with the opportunity to develop their communication skills with different interfaces and to practice algorithmic thinking and block programming.
In addition, the course "Programming for the little ones" is a great way to prepare for school! It helps the preschooler to:
The skills acquired in the classroom will be an excellent basis for further study of programming.
We take care of all the necessary requirements. If the child cannot read, they are still welcome to study in the course.

CODDY teachers have been teaching children programming for more than four years. During this time, hundreds of very different kids - quiet, have visited our classes and active, lively restless and small introverts - not one of them left indifferent to our lessons.

Is there enough tablet for classes?
For classes, you need a tablet with an IOS operating system (at least version 8) or Android (at least version 5), on which the child performs tasks.
In module 6-9, students switch to working with a computer. At this stage, only a computer or laptop will be enough for classes.
The guys create and demonstrate the final project on a tablet, computer or laptop.
And what if there is no tablet?
If there is no tablet, you can use a PC on the course. To do this, you need to install a special emulator program on your computer that will simulate the operation of a tablet. You can use any proven emulator. We recommend using the BlueStacks emulator.
