The professional path of most people is usually random through mistakes. It often takes years, but the result makes us disappointed. Moreover professional realisation is the most important part of our life.
We believe that the process of professional development can be made conscious and manageable. And foundations should be explained in adolescence.
The world is changing rapidly. It is not known what will happen tomorrow and it is not clear how to prepare for this.
We are worried about our children. What should they be taught? The usual professions are disappearing, new ones appear. Yesterday I chose one direction for development, today I started training, and tomorrow it will become obsolete.
And the interests of our children are rapidly changing as well. They adjust to the developing world, try everything that falls into their field of vision. They start and drop, change their choices trying to understand what they are interested in.
One education, one profession, one workplace for life is old-fashioned way of life. This will not happen again. We live in the reality where everybody may specialise in many spheres.
Adults, change the vector of professional development from 1 to 3 times in our lives. Our children will do this even more often.
To succeed they will have to learn constantly, be ready to change the trajectory of the professional movement. This is what they should be taught.
We should contribute to our children by
- helping children understand themselves: their talents, interests, desires, values.
- developing their flexibility and adaptability;
- educating the position of life-long learning. This is what they have to live with;
- explaining what the artificial intellect cannot do yet;
- stimulating their curiosity and research skills;
- encouraging them when they have to make decisions;
- teaching them to analyse the labor market and professions and show trends;
What will we do during the course "I choose my profession"?
The classes will not be similar to the usual professional orientation. We are not going to complete tests and look for appropriate professions.
We are going to think, research ourselves and study the market of professions. We have two main tasks.
We start with ourselves. They should understand what they know about themselves and strong suites. What are they capable of? What are their interests? What do they dream of? We will go into details of all, discuss it and do exercises.
We set the words on fire and our investigation. We are going to study the market and special sites. We will have interviews with parents, collect salary analytics and watch motivation videos and play strategic professional table games.
There will be many home tasks including self-reflexion, market research and essay on different topics.
During the training process we evaluate the practical side (how to do it?) and understanding the topics as well (why and what for?)
Students demonstrate knowledge by solving tasks in their own way, explaining the algorithms in own words, helping other students to correct mistakes and creating presentations on the final course project.

CODDY classes consist of 30 levels and upon reaching each of them the young CODDY achiever receives a certificate.
