Moreover, the user does not have to type codes in order to achieve desired results, but rather move coloured blocks/bricks around, connect them in predetermined way just like in Lego. One can easily alter the program and it will comply instantly.

1. How to set up Scratch on you personal computer:

3. Firstly upload Adobe Air for your operating system* and set it up
4. Upload Scratch for you operating system** and set it up
5. Run the application Scratch, switch interface to the Russian version (click the globe icon in the top left corner)
In order to access files with the lessons, upload them on your computer and then click File>Open in the top left corner
* Windows (7/8/10) - for most of computers, Mac OS X - for Apple computers

During the training process we evaluate the practical side (how to do it?) and understanding the topics as well (why and what for?)
Students demonstrate knowledge by solving tasks in their own way, explaining the algorithms in own words, helping other students to correct mistakes and creating presentations on the final course project.
