Studying the basics of 3-D programming with Scratch
Scratch is the visual programming environment for teaching children which was founded in MIT. During the courses, based on this programming language, children create 2-D games and animations. Many users, though, wonder whether it is possible to create a 3-D game using Scratch. And the answer is yes!
The course “3-D games in Scratch” allows to comprehend the basic principles of 3-D images. Having acquired sufficient knowledge about 3D, we apply them in various games and animations straight away. Usually, people use the existing engine which is required for 3-D programming. The “3-D games in Scratch” course will allow your child to get familiar with peculiarities and complexities of the 3-D world.

How to install Scratch on a home computer:
- Go to the download section on the official website of the project https://scratch.mit.edu/download
- First download Adobe AIR for your operating system* and install it
- Download Scratch for your operating system* and install it.
- Launch the Scratch application.
- To open files from classes, download them to your computer, and then in the upper left corner of the application sel ect “File”> “Open”.
* Windows (7/8/10) - for most computers, Mac OS X - for computers fr om Apple. If you are a Linux user, you yourself know everything.
** You know everything yourself ** The order of installation of Scratch on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux computers is different:

In Windows you need to install the application and run it.
- In Mac OS X you need to drag and drop the application icon from the image into the applications folder and run it.
- In Linux you can download the installation file or use "via PPA".
At the end of the course, each student receives a personal certificate from CODDY.
