Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity.

Module 2: Python Programming and Cryptography.
This module is to review the Python programming language and to learn the basics of encryption. The module presents the following topics:

• Writing programs for encryption in Python

Module 3: Advanced Python and Security.

• Writing a program to create a database of user logins and passwords

Module 4: Network Attacks.
Types of network attacks

• Basics of HTML
• CSS tables

• Writing a program for password attack using Brute force technique.

Module 5: JavaScript Fundamentals.
This module is devoted to the basics of the JavaScript language, which you cannot do without when working with websites and protecting information on the Internet. Topics of the 5th module:

• Basics and application of JavaScript
• Variables, loops, and conditional statements in JavaScript
• Functions and events in JavaScript
• Practical programming in JavaScript
• Understanding cross-site scripting (XSS), identifying and eliminating vulnerabilities

Module 6: Database Technologies and MySQL.
In the 6th module, the students will get acquainted with the databases technologies and the MySQL language and learn how to apply databases in user authorization tasks on the site. The module covers the following topics:

• Creating a first database
• Commands for interacting with a database
• Writing a program for user authentication on a website
• Introduction to SQL injection and protecting methods

Module 7: Network Technologies.
The module is dedicated to an introduction to network technologies, where children will learn:

• OSI protocol stack model
• Internet network structure, TCP/IP protocol stack model
• Principles of local, global, private, and public networks
• Various network protocols and their applications

Module 8: Operating Systems and Command Line.
In module 8, students are introduced to Windows and Linux operating systems, and learn how to write commands on the command line. Topics of this module:

• Working with the command prompt in Windows and Linux
• Commands for managing files and configuring the desktop
• Special features of the Windows and Linux command lines
• Introduction to IP addresses and ports

Module 9: Advanced Protocols and Vulnerability Analysis.
Module is devoted to the study of new protocols, the practice of working with vulnerabilities and information resource protection. The course will be completed with a presentation of projects, where the students will present their new knowledge and skills. Topics of the 9th module:

• Studying VPN
• FTP and SMB protocols
• Practical tasks for detecting vulnerabilities
• Preparing for projects presentation
• Course summary and recommendations for further development in the field of information and cybersecurity

For the lessons your child will need:
