Many students are interested in drawing: they like the drawing process itself and the result - completed drawings and paintings. Some children are born with the ability to draw, and it is easy for them to turn this ability into skill, by practicing regularly and persistently. However, for others, drawing may not be such an easy task, and after first unsuccessful attempts thoughts arise that they will never succeed, and their drawings are thrown into the garbage can. But what if there was an art that any person could master?!

Sketching is a technique of drawing quick freehand sketches and you do not need to be an artist to create them, since it does not place high demand on skills. Until recently, this type of work served only as a prototype of a real work of art, but today such sketches can be considered as complete illustrations that retain certain charm and attraction.

Nowadays, sketching is a well-known and rapidly developing area of drawing. Its popularity is due to its simplicity of use, a fairly quick result as well as complete freedom in the style and manner of drawing and having the opportunity to work with various tools: from ordinary pencils to pastels and special markers.

It is popular in many professional activities: this way of visualizing creative ideas is actively used by modern artists, illustrators, architects, designers and many other representatives of artistic professions.

About course:

During the course children will get familiar with the basics of drawing art and will study how quickly to fix their ideas that arise in their mind and visualize them on a piece of paper using the sketching technique. During the lessons, course participants will create bright sketches, mastering the rules and basic skills of this technique. Our practice will be based on the most interesting various topics: we will illustrate a human, animals, plants, buildings and architecture details, cities, paysage and many others. Children will also be able to bring their creative ideas into life: travel sketching, car sketching, industrial, landscaping and lifestyle sketching.

In the process of learning, children will work with pencils, markers, gel pens, and water paints while developing eye and hand motor skills.

By the end of the course, each student will have a portfolio consisting of their work created during the course.
