Video format is becoming more and more pervasive in our lives and the pace at which video content continues to evolve every day is accelerating. There are 500 million videos uploaded to YouTube every minute. In order to stand out in this sea of content, you need to stand out in this sea of content requires mastering the art of editing.
Editing is not just "gluing" video footage together. It's about bringing together all the footage, music, and other components to give a finished product. Editing disparate videos is a painstaking job that requires a whole set of skills.
To master the art of editing you don't need to enter a film school or study online classes 24 hours a day. We have developed a special course for kids who want to learn how to edit high quality and impressive videos.
About the course
The course "Video Editing" is created for kids from 10 to 14 years old. In these classes, kids will learn how to select and edit the best plans and frames, leaving only the most important and interesting.
An experienced teacher-practitioner who adapts lessons to the interests and preferences of each child leads the course. No prior training or experience is required of the student. Lessons include theory and practice, and the material is presented in an accessible and fun form. The child reinforces the skills by doing homework, which they then analyze in detail together with the teacher.
Lessons do not require special equipment. We use video taken with a smartphone or tablet as well as the easy-to-use Movavi Video Editor.
As a result of the course, kids won't just be able to make beautifully sliced footage with music, effects, and titles, they'll learn to create their own video stories.
What we will do on the course?
In the classroom, children:

Master Movavi Video Editor from the ground up;
- Learn the rules of editing clips, mini-films and clips for their blog;
- Learn to assemble videos of several clips, adjust colors, add titles, and effects;
- Make your first videos that you can publish on your blog or add to your portfolio for a future career in the film or television industry.
The skills gained in this course will serve as an excellent foundation for further study of the art of video content creation.
