About myself:

Education:

Pavel studied Information Technology Software Development at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

He has also completed teacher training, helping him adapt his approach to children of different ages and learning styles.

Background:

Pavel discovered his passion for teaching when he realised that he genuinely enjoyed explaining complex ideas and helping children find their own solutions. For more than three years, he has been teaching programming and robotics to children aged 6 to 15.

Over the years, Pavel and his students have created many exciting projects together. What he finds most rewarding, however, is seeing a child gradually become more independent — coming up with an idea, exploring different solutions and eventually turning that idea into something that actually works.

Pavel is particularly interested in projects built with Arduino, an electronics platform that allows students to combine programming with physical devices and interactive projects. For children, this can be an exciting moment: code is no longer just something on a screen — it can make something in the real world respond, move or work.

In his classes, Pavel places a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and independent thinking. Students learn how to break problems down, develop step-by-step solutions, find bugs and understand why a particular approach works.

For Pavel, one of the most important things is helping children feel confident when faced with difficult problems and learn to think for themselves. Programming is not simply about writing code that works. It is about learning how to approach a challenge calmly, break it into manageable steps and gradually find your own way forward.

This approach has also led to strong results: Pavel has coached two gold medal winners in a Scratch programming competition in Belarus.

Personal side:

Over the past few years, programming has become much more than just a profession for Pavel. In his free time, he continues to build his own Arduino projects and enjoys exploring 3D printing.

When he wants to take a break from technology, Pavel goes cycling — it is his way of clearing his mind and recharging. He also enjoys playing billiards, mainly as a chance to relax and spend time with friends.

"Programming is more than writing code. It is a way to turn an idea into something that actually works. I want to show my students that even the most difficult challenge becomes manageable when you break it down into smaller steps and are not afraid to experiment."
