Peace Award

On November 11, 2020, the Public Chamber hosted the ceremony of awarding the laureates of the International Peace Award. It is presented to the winners of an annual competition whose participants are engaged in various charitable projects and help implement social initiatives in different parts of the country. This year, the nominees of the award, selected from 70 applications, were not only residents of Russia but also a participant from India. CODDY founder Oksana Selendeeva received the award in the "Corporate Volunteering" nomination, as well as a letter of thanks for her personal contribution to the development of the intellectual potential of children and adolescents.

The Peace Award is an annual competition designed to identify people whose active life position serves the development of society and the implementation of social initiatives.

This award is presented for the most striking deeds in the field of public initiatives, volunteering, charity, and other activities for the benefit of society. The Peace Award for good deeds, public initiatives, volunteering, charity, and other activities for the benefit of society has the status of an international competition.

The educational project "Grants from CODDY" for children with disabilities and from orphanages was presented for participation in the competition. The school gives grants for free training in programming, design, cybersecurity, business basics, as well as various "soft" skills like financial literacy or public speaking. Children from 7 to 18 years old from all over the country can take part in the program.
