On November 12, 2020, the award ceremony for the laureates of the "Golden Puzzle" award took place. The CODDY school team became a winner in two nominations: it took second place in the "Best Educational Event" nomination and third place as the "Best Social Online Project."
"Golden Puzzle" is a professional independent award given for creative achievements in the field of special events and event marketing. For the victory in the competition, the school team competed with professionals from the PR and event industry. The competition takes place in three stages: acceptance of applications from contestants, online voting by the jury to form a short list, public defense of projects that made the short list before the jury.
In the "Best Educational Event" nomination, the school presented its own programming and design courses. The educational project "Grants from CODDY," within which children with disabilities and from orphanages are trained for free in programming, design, cybersecurity, business basics, and many other in-demand skills, claimed the title of "Best Social Online Project."
CODDY students — Nika Safonova (6 years old) and Sasha Alekseev (15 years old) — led by teacher and program director of the school Konstantin Zhuchkov participated in the defense of the projects, which took place on November 10.
