Education:
Rostov State University of Economics — Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence.
Background:
Lev has been passionate about math since high school, where attending a specialized math program was a no-brainer for him. At university, his love for mathematics merged with programming, leading him to discover artificial intelligence — one of the most exciting fields shaping our future.
By his fourth year, Lev was already working with a research team developing real neural networks. His contributions were published in academic journals, and the neural network he helped create was officially registered as licensed software and used in government-funded research projects.
This scientific foundation led to ForeSAT, a startup using AI for forest monitoring. The venture has achieved remarkable success: Skolkovo residency, a grant from the Innovation Assistance Fund, and a spot in Russia's top 50 university startups of 2024.
Now Lev dedicates part of his time to teaching, believing it's crucial to pass on expertise to the next generation.
Teaching approach:
Lev makes math and programming come alive. His students don't just memorize Python syntax — they learn how AI actually works and build their own neural networks. He teaches kids to think like researchers: analyze problems, experiment fearlessly, and find creative solutions.
Personal side:
There's much more to Lev than equations and code. He's played football his whole life and discovered a passion for performing arts at university — spending years dancing everything from contemporary to hip-hop and breakdancing.
This artistic side led him down an unexpected path: performing in fire shows, walking on stilts, and working as a mime. His performance skills even took him to Oman as a professional entertainer! How does he balance science, tech entrepreneurship, and performing arts? Come to his classes and find out.
"We all face the question of which path to choose. My advice? Pick the one you genuinely love and believe in. Even if it seems unconventional, that's your best shot at creating something truly meaningful and exciting. Isn't that what life's about?"
