About myself:

Education:

Irina holds a Bachelor's degree with honours in Information and Communication Technologies, specialising in Computer Engineering and Software, from the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications.

She is also currently pursuing a Master's degree at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) in Communication and Digital Design, with a focus on Animation Production.

Background:

Irina brings together technical expertise and a creative approach to digital technology, helping children explore the worlds of programming and 3D modelling.

She is a certified instructor in Scratch programming and 3D modelling and has more than three years of teaching experience.

Irina also has hands-on experience in the games industry. As a 3D artist, she contributed to the development of the commercial game Adventurer's Gambit: Dungeons of Fortune. Having worked on a complete professional game project, she can show students how the skills they develop in class are used to create real digital products.

In addition, Irina has developed and teaches her own course covering the full 3D production process, bringing together technical skills, artistic vision and hands-on experience in creating digital objects.

For Irina, it is important that children do more than simply learn how to use digital tools. She wants them to understand how technology can help turn their own ideas into reality — from the very first concept to a finished project.

Personal side:

Irina is passionate about digital technology and design. She is particularly interested in the way technical skills and creativity come together in games, animation and other digital projects.

She enjoys finding simple, relatable ways to explain complex ideas — whether it is showing how a character moves in a game or exploring why light falls in a particular way. She is always looking for interesting examples in games and animated films that allow her to tell her students: “Look — we learned how this works in our last lesson!”

One of the things Irina values most is the moment when a student begins to look at familiar technology differently. She encourages children to watch their favourite games or animated films and start asking questions such as: “How did they make that?”, “Why does the character move that way?” and “How could I recreate it myself?”

For Irina, the goal is not simply to master a particular piece of software. It is to learn to see creative possibilities everywhere — wherever there is a screen, a piece of code or a three-dimensional form.

"Technology is not just about buttons and code. It is a complex language that allows us to tell almost any story today: to build a world, bring a character to life or create a game. I do not simply teach children which buttons to press — I encourage them to look for their own solutions and not be afraid to try something new. That starts with one thing: being willing to experiment and create something of your own."
