Alexander is a Chinese teacher who not only teaches conversational skills, but also introduces his students to Chinese culture, history and mentality.
He teaches general Chinese and helps his students to improve their grades and prepare for competitions and the HSK exam.
His main teaching methods include learning the language through translations of authentic texts. Watching and analyzing videos, films, TV series and cartoons. Alexander uses playful methods to memorize characters, words and whole sentences and analyzes songs and poems.
During his many years of teaching at various educational institutions, he has helped dozens of students to master the Chinese language, pass exams and gain admission to higher educational institutions not only in Russia but also in China. He teaches both children and adults, adapting the material to the language level of the group.
Interests:
Alexander has a wide range of interests and continues to improve his Chinese to this day. He is deeply fascinated by Chinese history and culture. He practices calligraphy and runs workshops in a historical re-enactment club.
He also studies ancient history. He is a member of the historical re-enactment club "Pax Romana", in which he and his colleagues re-enact the times of ancient Rome, Greece and the European tribes. He studies Latin, because in order to recreate the era, you not only need to know how people lived back then, but also how they communicated with each other.
Alexander leads an active lifestyle and enjoys hiking in the mountains. He has undertaken numerous hikes in the North Caucasus and climbed many peaks and passes. He also plays table tennis as a hobby.
His great passion is also education, which led him to train as a counselor. He then worked as a counselor in the children's camps "Shakhtinsky Tekstilshchik"," "Art-Smena" and "Pushkino" and taught Chinese in the "Art-Linguistics" program during his time in the camps.
"I am convinced that a language only comes to life when you can recognize the culture, the thought patterns and the inner logic of the people behind it. That is the essence of my teaching methodology".
